Grass Baling & Wrapping Team

Here we have just a quick picture of our Bailing and Wrapping equipment. The season is just starting and the gear is ready to go 24 hours a day. Backed up by a full service team this John Deere 6920S, Claas Baler and the Mercedes Benz MB1000 & McHale Wrapper are the perfect combination for this type of field work.

Agricultural Land Reclamation Project

Land reclamation forms an important part of our skill set. It is vital for the farmer to maxamise his available land for agricultural use, be it for grazing or crops. Here we see the top soils being taken back exposing the underlying uneven rock below. The highs and lows of the rock formation are the smoothed out to form an even foundation on which to return the tops soils to. This not only delivers the maximum area for use but ensures a good drainage of the field but also the surrounding area.
This project was in the Caheragh area of Skibbereen and is due for completion in June 2011

Drainage Scheme in Skibbereen

Here is one of recent projects commissioned by RIPPLE . We were asked to clear the main stream that flows through the Super Valu carpark in Skibbereen and continues in to the River Illen. Over recent years flooding had become a problem because of the lack of maintenance.
This project was conducted at night due to the car parks constant use during the day as well as the river and stream being tidal. The time span for this work was only a few hours each day until the
project was complete.
